According to the Department of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City, 15 new companies have registered for the City price stabilization program and 48 have revised their tenure, amounting to 59 companies being manufacturing enterprises and five being business financers.
This year the City will run four price stabilization programs, namely, food products, essential food items, school supplies, dairy products, and essential medicines.
Particularly, food and essential food items comprise of nine products comprising of rice, sugar, cooking oil, cattle meat, poultry meat, processed foods, vegetables, and fresh and processed seafood.
The program also includes school supplies such as notebooks, school-bags, and school uniforms.
Dairy products include powdered milk for children, elderly, sick and pregnant women, milk for undernourished people, nutritious powdered milk, and vitamin enriched supplement milk.
