Remittances transferred through credit institutions increased more than $2.8 million

As informed by the State Bank-Phu Yen branch, from the beginning of year to date, the amount of remittances transferred through the system of credit institutions in the province reached has more than $17.5 million, an increase of $2.8 million (increase rate is equivalent to 19.15%) compared to the same period of last year. This is to help commercial banks in Phu Yen reduce tense in finding foreign currency to serve the economy.


Also according to the State Bank-Phu Yen, currently most commercial banks in the province are providing international remittances payment service, namely Western Union, Money Gram, TNMonex, UniTeller … Besides the channels of credit institutions, Vietnamese overseas, terminable laborers working abroad also send foreign currency to relatives through gold trading businesses or those traveling abroad on holiday…
