The awards catch public attention
(VOVworld) – The rice harvesting and smashing machine created by Pham Hoang Thang has own the first prize of the innovation competition for southern provinces. The award ceremony took place on Saturday in Ho Chi Minh city. First prize winner Thang told VOV:“The introduction of machinery into agriculture is necessary to help farmers reduce losses during harvest. So I think about harvesting and smashing machine solution to help farmers overcome this difficulty”.
The second prize went to the system of waste water treatment by the Company for Drainage and Urban Development Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Since the competition was launched 3 months ago, it had received 145 technical solutions, with many of them are applicable to daily life, production, security and defense.
The 2013 innovation competition was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Korean Intellectual Property Organization (KIPO) and the Vietnam Record Book Center (Vietkings).
