Tran Lien Hung was also distribution partner of some popular brands such as Nippon, Seamaster, Dulux, and Jotun.


Speaking of Tran Lien Hung, it would be a mistake not to mention Mr Tran Khac Tam, CEO and former General Director of the company. He is a very active and sharp businessman with a generous heart always connects business activities with social responsibility. Under the direction of Mr Tran Khac Tam, Tran Lien Hung has had an ongoing strong development and attained its’ position in the marketplace as well as in the community. In 2013, Mr Tran Khac Tam was honoured with the Vietnam Prominent Entrepreneur Award and Thanh Giong Cup organized by the VCCI. Talking about business activities of the company in recent years, the General Director of Tran Lien Hung, Mr Tran Khac Duy said that thanked to experiences and knowledge of the market, especially the paint market, Tran Lien Hung had become a reliable destination for many global major partners. With over 20 years of experience in paint distribution and a strong distributor system, Tran Lien Hung is planning to develop the company to a new height by investing in a modern paint factory in Soc Trang. “The current economic situation is still quite sluggish, as soon as there are signals of economic development and real estate market recovery, Tran Lien Hung will venture to invest in a paint factory, creating more jobs and promoting local economic development,” said Mr Tran Khac Duy.


Speaking of the investment environment in Soc Trang, Mr Tran Khac Duy noted that the investment environment in Soc Trang recent years was making positive changes as seen in the improvement of the PCI index. In 2013, Soc Trang’s PCI ranked 24 out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide, which was considered quite good. This was a positive sign, making a good impression on business community. “However, to create a truly attractive investment environment requires provincial leaders to be more flexible in the implementation of policies to support businesses, increasing access to land, stepping up administrative reforms. Planning information and legal documents also need to be communicated in a timely way to businesses,” said Mr Tran Khac Duy.
