(VOV) -Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on January 20 received Myanmar’s Minister of Information Ye Htut in Hanoi.
Dung said he hoped Vietnam and Myanmar will continue to promote cooperation in politics and diplomacy as a contribution to building an ASEAN Community in 2015.
He also called for increased cooperation to ensure regional peace and security and deepen bilateral ties.
The Government leader asked the government of Myanmar to quickly allow Vietnamese businesses to expand there telecommunication services and open Vietnamese banking offices in Myanmar.
He also called for greater efforts to accelerate the implementation of cooperative agreements in 13 areas reached by senior leaders.
