Each machine is able to process 280 litres of seawater per hour into drinking water.

This activity was part of the campaign “Joining hands for the national seas and islands” launched since May 2015 in order to raise the public awareness of the national sacred sovereignty over seas and islands and to ease the difficulties facing the law enforcement forces at sea.

On this occasion, the Committee also granted 93 cameras and Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts to the two forces’ members and paid visits to needy fishermen in coastal localities.
