HA NOI (VNS)— The Ministry of Planning and Investment has proposed the Government sets aside VND500 billion (US$23.8 million) from the State budget to help provinces repair and upgrade reservoirs.
As many as 85 seriously damaged reservoirs in 29 provinces across the country must be repaired this year to ensure local people’s safety during flood season.
Central Ha Tinh Province will receive the highest investment of VND53 billion ($2.5 million), followed by nearby Quang Binh Province, with VND46 billion ($2.19 million). — VNS
