PHU YEN (VNS)— Tuy Hoa City’s Health Center in the central province of Phu Yen has been banned from providing immunisation services after violating the vaccination regulations set by the Ministry of Health, according to Deputy Director of the provincial Health Department Dang Phuc Liem.
The ban follows the discovery that a 16-year-old boy in the city was found to have been vaccinated against measles, rubella and mumps with an expired Trivivac vaccine on May 20.
Initial investigations found that the centre had used three ampules of the vaccine which had expired on April 30. — VNS
