Despite being the world No 10, Viet Nam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will not be seeded for the men’s singles event at the Indonesia Open Super Series from June 10-16 in Jakarta.
According to the draw, Olympian Minh will meet No 3 seed Du Pengyu of China in the first round. If successful, he will then meet the winner of a match between Simon Santoso of Indonesia and Denmark’s Hans Kristian Vittinghus.
The tournament is part of the BWF Super Series Premier and has prizes worth US$700,000.-VNS
