Vietnam takes part in “Germany Development Day 2013″

(VOV) – Vietnam has participated in “Germany Development Day 2013″ which was held in Berlin on May 25 to show diverse cooperation between Germany and other countries in the fields of culture, diplomacy and economics.



The event was jointly organized by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Germany’s relevant agencies for the first time in the cities of 16 states.


In one of 40 pavilions from the Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, Vietnam displayed publications to advertise Vietnam’s culture, people and landscape.


Involved in the event were representatives of Vietnam Airlines, VietinBank and Viethaus who spoke highly of Vietnam tourism potential and called for investment in the country.


Visitors to the Vietnam pavilion in Berlin had the chance to taste fried spring rolls made by the female staff of Vietnam’s representative offices in Germany and see art performances.


Minister Counsellor Bui Ngoc Toan said the participation of Vietnam showed it was strongly committeed to development cooperation within the framework of overall Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership.
