Vietnamese poet Nguyen Du to be recognised as man of culture

The UNESCO Executive Board will send the file of Nguyen Du (1765-1820), a great Vietnamese poet renowned for his literary masterpieces ‘Truyen Kieu’ (Tale of Kieu), to the UNESCO’s Great Council for his recognition as 'Man of Culture of the World'.
