The Head, created by a group of students from Da Nang, won first prize at the competition last July. –VNS Photo DA NANG (VNS)- A sandcastle competition will be held at Au Co Sculpture Park on My Khe beach next Friday.
As scheduled, teams can compete with two or four members each on a 5m long beach. Participants will be given four hours to create artworks of sand.
Organiser, Phillip Bosley from Silver Sun Event, said the competition was expected to draw thousands of young people and tourists.
Last year, the event attracted more than 70 teams, including tourists from the United States, Australia, England, France, New Zealand and Japan.
