VGP – An exhibition showcasing historical evidence about Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos opened Tuesday at the Viet Nam Military History Museum in Ha Noi.
The exhibition, which runs through July 15, introduces to the public nearly 150 maps, documents, texts, artifacts and publication collected from researchers, domestic and foreign academicians.
According to Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Do Quy Doan, the exhibition would send Viet Nam’s message to the global community as well as Chinese people that over the past generations, Vietnamese people have protected and preserved the sacred sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa with the spirit of unity and observation of international law.
The exhibition aims to honor the efforts made by compatriots and overseas Vietnamese in collecting, conserving and donating the precious exhibits proving Viet Nam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos./.
