HA NOI (VNS)— The Governor General of New Zealand, Lt Gen Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, will undertake an official visit to Viet Nam from August 3-8, at the invitation of State President Truong Tan Sang.
The visit is the second visit to Viet Nam by a Governor General of New Zealand. It is Sir Jerry Mateparae’s third visit to Viet Nam, his last visit was in 2008, as Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force. — VNS
