HA NOI (VNS)— People’s Committees nationwide had been asked to strengthen food safety inspections for the upcoming Mid-autumn Festival, according to the Health Ministry’s Department of Food Safety.
The interdisciplinary Steering Committee on food hygiene and safety, Agriculture and Rural Development departments, Industry and Trade departments and relevant agencies will check moon cake production.
The names of companies that violate food safety regulations will be given to the media to protect consumers. — VNS
