Last week, the Quang Ngai PPC organized a meeting with the provincial functional departments and DPCs to review the figures and data on the housing assistance policy under the Decision 22 of the Prime Minister.
As reported by DoLISA, in the period of 2009 – 2011, from various mobilized sources, the province implemented construction and repair of 2,251 houses for social policy families with the total capital of VND 38.3 billion.
In 2012, 3,446 proposed policy households need to be supported on housing, out of which newly-built houses (1,766) and repair (1,680).
According to initial statistics, it needs VND 160.9 billion to construct and repair 5,335 social policy households in accordance with the Decision 22, out of which, 2,639 houses in 2013 and 2,696 ones in 2014.
However, through discussion at the meeting, the figure and data review should be to ensure accurate before approved by competent authorities.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Nhan – Director of DoLISA asked the localities to review and correct statistical data of social policy households before 20 August 2013 to submit to relevant agencies for approval as regulated.
