LAM DONG (VNS)- A 71-year-old man died of A/H1N1 influenza yesterday morning at Lam Dong Province’s General Hospital, according to the establishment’s vice director Nguyen Duc Thuan.
The deceased, from Don Duong District, was admitted to the hospital six days ago with a high fever and breathing difficulties.
Hospital test results subsequently confirmed he contracted the virus.
This is the second case of A/H1N1 flu to hit the province this year and the first to be fatal.—VNS
