— The Ministry of Construction yesterday agreed to withdraw a regulation of the draft bill on housing that bans using houses to do business in the fields of hotel, discotheque, bar, and karaoke. The ministry admitted the ban is illogical in Vietnam now.

— Vietnam has averagely 4-5 children die of drowning every day, according to the Ministry of the Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs. In the first six months this year, the nation had 800 children drowned.
