Three new records have been set at the National Star Marksmen Tournament in Ha Noi.
HCM City’s Phan Quang Vinh on Monday won a gold medal and a new national record in the men’s 10m air rifle event with a score of 778.1 points. The old record belonged to Nguyen Duy Hoang of the Military team five years ago with 693.7 points. This year, Hoang took a bronze medal.
The second record went to Hanoian Duong Thi Chuc, who shot 586.1 points in the women’s 10m air rifle event on Sunday.
Her teammate Tran Chau Tung took the third record in the men’s 50m pistol event by scoring 635.2 points.
After two days of competition, Ha Noi topped the ranking table with four golds, followed by the Military and HCM City teams. — VNS
