The photos spotlight the past support and close relationship that provided a firm foundation for growing ties between the countries. Forty paintings, which have been displayed in Italy, present the pains of war as well as supporting activities of Italian people for Vietnamese in their mission to gain freedom.
Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni stressed that the event is a meaningful activity to help celebrate diplomatic ties, presenting past and present connections and looking toward a bright future of both countries.
This year, many activities have been held including ‘Vietnamese Day in Italy’ and ‘Italian House in Vietnam’ to promote both nations’ achievements.
The exhibition runs in Hanoi until tomorrow and then comes to HCMC with details still to be disclosed.
