VGP – Viet Nam exported in August around 131,000 tons of rubber worth US$286 million.
In the recent eight months, it shipped abroad 638,000 tons of rubber, valued at more than US$1.52 billion, up 4.6% in volume and down 14.1% in value compared to the same period in 2012.
China remains the largest rubber importer of Viet Nam, accounting for 43.9% in terms of value.
Malaysia ranks second, making up 20.5% of total export turnover in the first seven months of the year./.
