The contest gave students the chance to learn about the cultures of countries around the world in English. First runner-up was
Nguyen Minh Hieu, student of HCMC Banking University, and two second runners-ups were Tran Kim Du and Nguyen Ngoc Minh Trai who are economic students.
The finalists defeated around 2,000 contestants due to their excellent English skills to enter the coronation night where they had to express their speaking skills on the cultures, economies and societies of countries around the world.
This was the seventh edition of the contest organized by the Trade – Tourism – Marketing faculty of the HCMC University of Economics and consisted of three rounds namely Learning, Discovering and Integrating. The contest sees participants test their English skills, team work, brainstorming and presentation skills. It had sponsorship from Soundmax, EQuest Academy, Breakthrough Power Cop., Toan Thang Company, URC Vietnam, Barnyard food shop and Sowda Coffee.
