On October 27, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting with a delegation from Qinghai Province in China led by Lac Hue Ninh, Committee Secretary of Qinghai Province on occasion of their visit to Vietnam.
During the meeting, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha hoped that relations between HCMC and Qinghai Province will develop further to promote cooperation in various fields in the near future.
Lac Hue Ninh expressed his surprise at the rapid development of Ho Chi Minh City. He said that this visit aims to strengthen the friendship between the two countries as well as between Qinghai Province and provinces in Vietnam.
He said that Ho Chi Minh City had the infrastructure to attract foreign investment and offer good economic and social services. Hence, Qinghai Province hopes that HCMC will cooperate with them in the fields of economics, commerce, culture and tourism.
