VGP – The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel, Yair Shamir, will visit Viet Nam from October 31 to November 4.
During his stay, he will meet with Vietnamese counterpart Cao Duc Phat to exchange measures to promote agriculture cooperation between the two Governments and private sectors.
He will also attend two business forums in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City which are co-organized by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with the participation of Vietnamese and Israeli companies operating in the fields of agriculture and science and technology.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the guest will visit the dairy demonstration and experimental project co-implemented by the Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation and the Municipal People’s Committee.
Viet Nam and Israel established diplomatic ties 20 years ago and agriculture has been one of the key pillar of the bilateral ties. Joint cooperation program in this area, Israel assists Viet Nam in improving capacity, applying advanced technologies in order to increase productivity and efficiency in different aspects of agriculture./.
