On October 31, the 95th anniversary of the National Day of the Czech Republic was celebrated at the Friendship House in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Muoi, Chairman of Vietnam-Czech Friendship Association, said the Vietnamese people will always remember the support and assistance of the Government of the Czech Republic in the struggle for national liberation as well as the reconstruction of the country.
In recent years, the cooperation between the two countries in various fields has deepened. The Czech Republic is one of the countries providing Official Development Assistance Funds to Vietnam and has many investment projects in the country as well.
On the same day, Mr. Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting with Ms. Miluse Horska, Vice President of the Czech Republic Senate.
At the meeting, both sides showed interest in cooperation in the health sector because it has strong potential in the Czech Republic.
