PANO – 16 groups and individuals with excellent IT, scientific, medical and pharmaceutical and environmental projects and products received the Vietnamese Talents Awards 2013 on November 20th in Hanoi.
Accordingly, two second prizes (no first prizes) for the successful product category went to products of AMIS.VN (All in one Management Information System) of MISA Joint Stock Company and TrueLife of VASC Software and Media Company.
The product, “Mobile Advertising Network Solution”, won the first prize of the potential products category, while two third prizes (no second prizes) went to products of VNPT-Eimvoice and TerraBook.
One third prize (no first and second prizes) of the category mobile service applications was presented to the product, SnapNSee, super-quick search software for smart phone using camera.
Prizes for applied sciences and health categories went to Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Chin and his colleagues from the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Geography and Resources for the project, “Studying natural conditions and natural resources in the Dong Thap Muoi region during 1980-1987 period”, and to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health and Director of National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, for the project, “Researching advanced technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of sterility in Vietnam”.
Two consolation prizes of the environment category were granted to the project on treating agricultural waste to protect the rural environment, conducted by the Vinh Phuc provincial Centre for the Application of Science and Technology and Agricultural Encouragement Board of Ho Son commune, Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province, and the project on classifying and turning organic waste into organic fertilizer for higher productivity, by the youth union of Nghia Trung commune, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province.
Other consolation prizes were also presented to other outstanding groups and individuals.
Launched 9 years ago, the award, jointly organised by the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and the Dan Tri Newspaper, aims to encourage creativity and honour talents in information technology and communications, as well as in natural sciences, health and environment.
