Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj
(VOVworld) – Mongolian President Tsakhiagin Elbegdorja on Thursday began his state visit to Vietnam.
The 4-day visit takes place when both countries are preparing for the 60th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties next year. Both are expected to sign a number of cooperative agreements.
President Elbegdorj’s visit aims to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two countries and promote cooperation in all fields especially in defense, security, economics, and trade. The visit is also part of Mongolia’s foreign policy toward Asia-Pacific and ASEAN.
