The contest, whose award ceremony took place on Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City, was organized by the Mangroves for the Future (MFF) in response to Vietnam Seas and Islands Week, themed “Acting together for seas and islands of the homeland”, and World Oceans Day. The contest’s aim is to raise the awareness, knowledge, and creativity of Vietnamese students in regard to coastal ecosystem conservation and restoration, thereby enhancing the participation of the community in protecting Vietnam’s coastal resources.
