QUANG NAM (VNS) — The provincial marine police said yesterday that they had seized a ship illegally transporting more than 3,000 tonnes of iron ore without the authorised paperwork .
The ship was on the way to northern Hai Phong Port City from the Ky Ha port in central Quang Nam Province.
The ship, Thanh Cong 18, belongs to a company based in Hai Hau district, northern Nam Dinh province.
Eight sailors were on board the ship at the time. The iron ore were seized for further investigation.— VNS
