SEOUL (VNS)— The Government Inspectorate of Viet Nam and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea (ACRC) signed a memorandum of understanding to share corruption-fighting experiences.
The document signing followed talks between Vietnamese Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh and ACRC Chairman Lee Sung-bo in Seoul on Wednesday during the Vietnamese official’s four-day visit to the country.
Tranh said he hoped to learn from the RoK’s experiences combating corruption and settling petitions, as well as to cooperate with ACRC to protect the rights of both countries’ citizens.
Lee Sung-bo said his country wished to exchange high-ranking visits to promote the nations’ strategic partnership. — VNS
