Three international airports in Cambodia welcomed in total 5.25 million passengers last year, reported the Cambodian news agency AKP.
According to the figures from the Société Concessionnaire des Aéroports (SCA), from January to December lasts year, Phnom Penh International Airport welcomed 2.39 million passengers, and Siem Reap International Airport 2.66 million passengers, up 15.4 percent and 20 percent respectively over last year.
At the same time, Preah Sihanouk International Airport received 0.19 million passengers, the figures showed.
The total number of flights at Phnom Penh International Airport and Siem Reap International Airport also saw increases of 18 percent and 20 percent respectively compared to those of 2012.
Cambodia attracted some 4.2 million foreign visitors in 2013, up from 3.58 million the previous year. The country is expected to welcome 7 million foreign tourists by 2020.-VNA
