On February 19, Mr. Ngo Hoa, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, hosted a reception for Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh, Counsellor on Cooperation and Cultural Action at French Embassy in Vietnam. Attending the reception were representatives of Departments of Education and Training, Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Culture – Sports and Tourism, Hue Festival Centre.
At the reception, Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh expressed her thanks to the provincial leaders for their warm welcome. This is her first official visit to Thua Thien Hue after becoming a Counsellor on Cooperation and Cultural Action at French Embassy in Vietnam since September 2013. Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh would like to develop good relations and new cooperation with Thua Thien Hue in the coming time. Therefore within the scope of this visit, she will have meetings with French Institute in Hue; provincial departments in the sectors of education, culture, Hue Festival; teachers and students of HueUniversity, Quoc Hoc Highschool, and NguyenTriPhuongSecondary School.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Ngo Hoa was glad and grateful to the special concern of the French Embassy in Vietnam towards Thua Thien Hue in various fields, especially supporting Thua Thien Hue to organize successfully the Hue Festival in the past ten years. He wished that in her new position, Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh would pay much attention to and have specific plans to help Thua Thien Hue in various fields of education, culture, health, etc. in order to further develop the close relations between Thua Thien Hue and the French Embassy in Vietnam in particular and the Republic of France in general.
