The PPC has just solemnly organized the ceremony to announce the Decision of the President to honorably award the title of Vietnamese heroic Mothers to 21 Mothers in Phu Yen province, who sacrificed to the cause of national liberation and protection. The ceremony was also to sum up the task of emulation, award in 2013, implementing the orientation and tasks for the emulating movement in 2014.

In 2013, the task of emulation and award showed positive shift, renovation and creativity in terms of concentrating on emulating the patriotic movements in many sectors; emulating contents were closely connected to the focal point of successfully implementing the task of social-economic development. The emulating movement of “Phu Yen joining hands and hearts to build up new rural areas“, and this has brought about the very first positive results. The movement of “the entire population being united to construct cultural lives at residential areas” was systematically implemented, in such a practical, concrete way, gaining the great response from the vast majority of people. The task of propagating on the typical examples, good role models in the movement of emulating to be patriotic has been enhanced.
The conference also announced the Decision by the State President to award the Second rank labor medal to one collective and 2 individuals, the third labor medal to three individuals and the Decision by the PPC to present excellent emulating flag to 23 collectives; the Merit certificate to 49 collective; emulating flags to 2 collective and merit certificates to two individuals for the excellent achievements in the emulating movement to be patriotic.
