In the period 2014-2016, Plan International in Vietnam will continue to support fund for the implementation of the Program of improving children’s lives in Son Ha, Ba To and Son Tinh district with the total amount of nearly VND47.5 billion, according to the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs.
Of which, VND 43.1 billion is from Plan Vietnam and the remaining amount will be from Quang Ngai province’.
Sub-projects are early childhood care and development; clean water and sanitation; community health; child protection; disaster reduction and prevention; building socio-economic development plan and poverty reduction; quality basic education at pre-schools, primary schools…
Plan, and international charity organization, has commenced its programs in Quang Ngai province in 2000 with a wide range of activities which are mainly dedicated to poor children.
So far, Plan Vietnam has expanded its activities to 10 communes in five districts of Tu Nghia, Nghia Hanh, Son Tinh, Son Ha and Ba To.
