In order to stimulate tourism demand this summer, the tourism operators in the Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance and Vietnam Airlines have combined in a joint action plan to bring attractive tours with big promotions to customers.
Mr Nguyen Cong Hoan, Head of the Tourism Demand Stimulus Alliance, said the stimulus programmes this year still try to maintain the five major promotions of the year along with promotional airfares up to 50 percent, thus the total cost of tours will be reduced by 30-40 percent. Besides, in order to attract tourists, tour programmes are diversified by adding many new destinations. The most notable is the February and March programmes with the four most impressive and beautiful destinations of spring, which are Dien Bien, Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Quoc, and Central Heritage road tour.
Visiting Dien Bien this spring, visitors are surprised at beautiful roads covered by white bauhinia variegata flower. Each beam of white flowers is floating like clouds in mountain peaks. March is also the time people in Muong Troi busy preparing for the activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (July 5, 1954 – 2014). The main focus is the Festival “Bauhinia variegata flower blooming” which will be the biggest festival ever (13-15 March 2014).
