ATM system in Vietnam not effected by software changes

The State Bank confirmed that the ATM system would remain the same in Vietnam despite changes in software.

The system will now be using a new version of Windows XP. The level of security will remain the same.

Multiple banks will control the network in order to maximize cyber security, according to the State Bank.

The banks have deployed security solutions and the machines are also equipped with data security systems, auto-alarms, and physical protection.

The bank requires other credit organizations in the country to upgrade their software systems in order to maximize security.
