VGP – The PM has released an instruction asking ministries, agencies and localities to encourage enterprises to invest in agricultural and rural development.

The move aims to realize Decree 210/2013/ND-CP which was dated December 19, 2013 on incentive policies for enterprises investing in agriculture and rural areas and came into force on February 10, 2014.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is in charge of coordinating with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Health to issue a new circular which guides the implementation of the Decree and instruct provincial and municipal People’s Committees to allocate expenditures before June 30, 2014.
Provincial and municipal People’s Committees are responsible for reviewing plans on poultry slaughtering, animal husbandry, development of key industrial plants, medicines, aquaculture, agro-forestry and fishery processing and storage sites. The task must be finalized prior to September 30, 2014./.
