Working with representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization’s Office in Ha Noi and Japanese Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Company on the afternoon of April 22, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee, agreed to the establishment of MES – UBI Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and allowed the company to implement the project “MES – UBI mechanical product manufacturing and processing factory” in Kim Xuyen commune (Kim Thanh).
Mr. Hien asserted to create all favorable conditions for the investment of enterprises in general and Japanese businesses in particular in Hai Duong.
Earlier, the joint venture of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Company and UBI Tower One Member Co., Ltd. requested the provincial People’s Committee to set up MES – UBI Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Kim Xuyen commune, Kim Thanh) with a chartered capital of VND127.5 billion, according to the Department of Planning and Investment.
Once established, the company will realize the project “MES – UBI mechanical product manufacturing and processing factory” with an investment of VND290 billion, specializing in producing, processing, and installing such mechanical products as pressure equipment, heat exchangers, waste heat boilers, technological gas boilers, reactors, equipment used in petrochemical plants, power plants, etc.
