(VOV) -A unique art performance on the evening of April 20 marked the closing of the nine-day Hue Festival 2014, leaving the Huong (Perfume) River glimmering with the reflections of overhead fireworks displays.

The programme was part of a grand ceremony held at Gia Hoi Park that drew the participation of hundreds of artists and models.
Dozens of beautiful models participated in a fashion show of Ao Dai (Vietnamese women’s traditional long dress) decorated with lotus – the national flower of Vietnam.
An art troupe from Hue Drama Theatre performed folk songs and dances in honour of the former imperial Hue city – a city of hospitality and poetic images.
Many foreign artists from Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia also took showed their outstanding performances at the closing ceremony on the side of Huong river.
A fireworks display and a special art performance by young Vietnamese artists left deep impressions on visitors by beautiful image of Hue conical hats, traditional costumes and sweet melody of folk songs.
