The Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang asked police and director of fire fighting and prevention department to strengthen security measures during the upcoming holidays.
These holidays include National Unification Day, International Labor Day, the 60th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory, the 124th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, and United Nations Day of Vesak.
General Tran Dai Quang also asked local authorities to revoke illegal weapons, explosive materials, and illegal motorbike racing.
