HCM CITY (VNS)— New Zealand’s foods and beverages will be showcased today to the country’s leading F&B professionals at an event in HCM City.
New Zealand Food Connection, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, will feature a variety of premium wines, meat, and dairy products.
“Viet Nam is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest growing markets,” said Tony Martin, New Zealand Trade Commissioner to Viet Nam.
The country is a fast-growing food and beverage market for New Zealand, particularly dairy products, which make up more than half of all of its exports to Viet Nam.
Exports of New Zealand fruit and meat to Viet Nam also saw strong growth last year.
New Zealand Food Connection is held at 2pm today at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel.
The event was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Monday, and goes next to Manila, the Philippines, on Friday. — VNS
