(VOV) – Journalists and media agencies can submit their works to participate in the Asian Environmental Journalism Awards (AEJA 2014) from April 22 to August 3, according to the Vietnam Forum of Environmental Journalists (VFEJ).
The award, organised by the Singapore Environment Council (SEC), aims to honour journalists who have made outstanding achievements in the environmental field.
The VFEJ will help disseminate information on the prize and implement support activities. Ms Loh Xiao Juan from the SEC said that the award has been launched since 2012 aiming to acknowledge individuals and organisations’ tremendous achievements in the environmental journalism.
There will be six categories for the award including an environmental story of the year, an environmental journalist of the year, environmental blogger of the year, environmental photo of the year, young journalist of the year and an environmental report conducted by media agencies.
This year’s award is expected to attract many Vietnamese environmental journalists’ works,Loh Xiao Juan said.
The award ceremony will be held in Singapore on October 16. Accordingly, journalists and media agencies can submit their works online at http://ift.tt/1hnj6oS.
