The Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee on the morning of May 26 commended and rewarded students with outstanding achievements in the 2013 – 2014 school year.

There were 11 teams with 94 students throughout the province participating in the national contest for good senior high school students in the 2013 – 2014 school year. 77 students won prizes, including four first, 13 second, 30 third, and 30 consolation prizes.
Nguyen Phan Quang Minh, a student of Nguyen Trai Senior High School for Gifted Students, grabbed a first prize in computer science and an Asian silver medal.
In addition, the province had one third prize and one consolation prize at the national scientific and technical competition; one second, two third, and eight consolation prizes in solving maths problems on handheld calculators; and one third and three consolation prizes at the painting contest “The Dream Car”. The football team of primary pupils triumphed at the Northern regional Milo Cup, etc.
The whole province had 2,651 students claiming the provincial good student prize at all school levels and over 800 students snatching prizes in such exams as scientific and technical study, sports and gymnastics, maths problem solving on handheld calculators, fine handwriting, English language Olympiad, etc.
The provincial People’s Committee rewarded one international good student, 77 national good students, 37 provincial good students, 19 teachers with the achievement of fostering international and national good students, two collectives with the achievement of retraining good students at all levels, and two students winning scientific and technical awards.
The Department of Education and Training presented certificates of credit to 23 collectives and 47 teachers with outstanding achievements in the 2013 – 2014 school year.
