Construction of two pre-schools for migrant workers’ children has been approved by the HCM City government in Linh Trung II and Le Minh Xuan industrial parks in Cu Chi District.
The land for the buildings will be soon transferred by local authorities, and investors will get financial support from the city.

Association to offer e-commerce training
The Vietnam E-commerce Association has co-operated with government agencies and local authorities to offer training in e-commerce for employees of companies, according to its chief representative, Nguyen Ngoc Dung.
The courses would help the companies improve management of e-commerce activities, he said.
Around 86,000 operational websites and 150,000 domain names have been registered by organisations and individuals in HCM City so far this year. However, only 1,800 shopping websites have been registered with the Viet Nam E-commerce and Information Technology Department.

Children’s Book Festival in HCM City
The Children’s Book Festival will open in HCM City on May 28 with more than 2,500 Vietnamese and foreign books and comics.
The organiser, Tre (Youth) Publishing House, will invite printers and authors to take part in seminars and forums on writing and publishing for children at the two-day event.
Kim Dong Publishing House, one of the country’s leading publishers, will hold three book festivals in the city and Ha Noi this summer.

Charity event to entertain disabled children
Students at schools for disabled children in HCM City will be entertained at a charity programme called Better Future 2014 by the city’s Youth Cultural House that will begin this weekend to celebrate International Children’s Day.
At the two-week programme they can enjoy music and puppet and food and toys donated by local universities, organisations, and individuals.
