Handing-over compassion houses to A.O. infected fishermen

​On June 23rd, Quang Ngai provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange / Dioxin in collaboration with Quang Ngai Fishermen Support Fund held a ceremony to hand-over 2 compassion houses to fishermen who are victims of A.O., including Mr. Le Minh Khanh (Tan Ky village, Duc Loi commune, Mo Duc district) and Mr. Lam Van Am (Xuan An village, Tinh Hoa commune, Quang Ngai city).


These are 2 out of 5 houses built by the amount of 250 million VND sourced from the Quang Ngai FishermenSupportFund.


Said by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hue – Chairman of the Fund, last time, a part from supporting fishermen in distress, the Fund has extended its objects to help fishermen who are A.O. infected victims across the province.



As tentatively planned, in Quarter III/2014, the Fund will continue to support the construction of 05 compassion houses with a total value of 250 million VND to support A.O. fishermen aiming at helping them stabilize life.
