Auditing and consulting firm NEXIA ACPA Co Ltd, a member of UK-based Nexia International Co, will merge into Grant Thornton Vietnam, a subsidiary of UK-headquartered Auditing and consulting firm Grant Thornton International.
The deal, which will take effect in July this year, will enable the former to merge into the latter under the Grant Thornton Vietnam name and serve as a key member firm of the Grant Thornton global network.
The merger will offer the local clients of the firms full access to over 14 partners and over 220 professionals in two offices across Vietnam and also benefit from a great breadth and depth of experience and knowledge held by 38,500 experts under the network across 120 countries around the world .
Following the merger, Kenneth Atkinson, current managing partner of Grant Thornton Vietnam, will be appointed as the Executive Chairman, and Mr Nguyen Chi Trung, current managing partner of NEXIA ACPA, will be appointed as Managing Partner.
