 Photo: VNA From the start of July, the historical Dong Loc turning point relic, in the central province of Ha Tinh, greeted more than 1,000 visitors to offer incense to commemorate ten young female heroes, said Mr. Tran Dinh Uoc, Head of the managing board for the relic. Dong Loc turning point has become a significant address to contribute to educating the younger generation about the country’s patriotic traditions. On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-2014), Ha Tinh will organise numerous activities to show it’s gratitude to the heroes, revolutionary martyrs and contributors. On July 23, a requiem will be celebrated at a monument to the people laying down their lives in Dong Loc and a mountain climbing competition will open at La Thi Tam hill on July 24. Specifically, an art performance entitled ” Dong Loc – Immortal turning point” will be co-organised by the Nhan Dan Newspaper and Ha Tinh province on July 24 with the event aired on VTV2 of Vietnam Television./. |
