The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) on July 10 signed a document to hand over the Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company (VMS-MobiFone) and the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology to the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.
Mai Van Binh, MobiFone chairman and director general, said that the company’s key mission this year is to complete and submit a project on MobiFone Corporation establishment to the ministry.
The corporation will operate in an advanced and modern modal, he added.
MobiFone will also present an equitization project.
Mobifone is one of the country’s three largest mobile network operators.
