Doan Huu Duc, deputy chairman of 2030 Businessmen Club, told the Daily on August 18 that the initial membership of G20 Business Dinner was around 20 businesspeople who are aged over 40 and have much experience in different fields.

Members of the network plan to meet once a month on Thursday at hotels of four-to-five star ratings in HCMC to exchange know-how and views of not only doing business but other fields like culture, arts, health and family.

G20 Business Dinner organized its first meeting last week for businessman Lam Minh Chanh to introduce his book of lessons and experiences of high-profile businesspeople around the world. Chanh has 5,000 copies of this book published for sale at bookstores and on the Internet.

G20 Business Dinner will invite renowned and successful businesspeople in Vietnam to its meetings to share business experience and hold a gala dinner at the end of each year for all the businesspeople who regularly participate in its events.

The 2030 Businessmen Club, which was established in 2002, now has more than 1,000 members, including Le Phuoc Vu, chairman of Hoa Sen Group; Gian Tu Trung, director of PACE Institute of Management – a school for business leaders and managers in Vietnam; Ly Quy Trung, founder of Pho 24 Restaurant brand; and Nguyen Hoai Nam, general director of Berjaya Vietnam.
