This is the 10th occasion that the Humanitarian blood donation day was held by InCham.
Smita Pant, first lady of the Consul General of India in HCMC, said that the blood donation day was part of the program to celebrate the 67th Independent Day of the Republic of India (August 15, 1947 – August 15, 2014).
“Over recent times, Vietnam and India have been strategic partners in many different fields… Vietnam and India aim at bringing the bilateral trade volume between the two countries up to US$7 billion by 2015. We are also expecting to open a new direct flight from HCMC to our capital New Delhi and to other cities of India in November 2014,” said Smita Pant.
